Kristopher E. Galenski

Founder and President

Kristopher Galenski is the founder and president of JM Financial. As an independent Financial Representative with over 20 years of experience, Kris works with clients to help develop comprehensive strategies to help clients meet thier long term goals. 

Beginning his financial services career at Charles Schwab in 1998, Kris spent many years in San Francisco before returning home to Massachusetts. Since moving back East in 2006, Kris has worked to help over 500 individuals and families build sound financial plans. 

Kris believed that working independently would allow him to better focus on his client's needs and offer a much broader range of investment options. So in 2015, he branched away from partnering with larger financial services companies and founded JM Financial, named after his two young sons, Jackson and Mason. 

He is a graduate of San Francisco State University earning BS in Finance. Kris lives with his wife Katie and thier two boys in Westhampton, MA where she teaches at the elementary school. When not working, Kris enjoys spending time with his family skiing, hiking, boating, fishing or coaching youth sports. 

Sarah Ginsberg

Operations Manager

Sarah Ginsberg has been the Operations Manager at JM Financial since 2018.  As the primary contact for account services and operational needs, she emphasizes organization and efficiency in her work. She has 20 years of production management experience working in New York City, China and Hong Kong for companies of all sizes and enjoys working with people and resolving the challenge that arise within complex projects.

Her responsibilities at JM Financial include overseeing company operations, client relations, compliance standards, marketing and company brand initiatives, as well as general office management responsibilities.

Sarah lives in Shelburne Falls with her husband, Mike, their daughter Alice. She loves crossword puzzles, audiobooks, and singing and playing Appalachian and early Country music with her friends and family.
